I know I’ve posted about this before, but with the very cool looking CITIZEN Promaster C660 ECODRIVE, I can never remember how to operate all the little buttons to change the time, but there’s a manual online:
- First of all, press the crown all the way in and rotate it. You will see the minuscule dial that is closest to the “six” time; this is the mode of the watch. The mode at the 12 o’clock position is “TME”, so rotate until the little indicator points to it.
- Now click on the top right or lower right button and you will see the tiny digital indicator go through time zones, which use a three-letter code. For instance, “NYC” means New York City or Eastern Time, and “LAX” means Los Angeles or Pacific Time.
- When you get to the time zone you want, pull the crown all the way out. This puts the watch into “SET” mode.
- Click until you see the right digital indicator say at the top, “SAI” and set this to ON to enable Daylight Saving Time.
To make the analog hands change time zones, this is a little tricky:
- Get into the TME mode
- Press and hold both the buttons on the right
- What will happen is that the time zone that is displayed digitally will switch with the time displayed on the watch
The idea is that you can easily flip to the new time, and then another double press gets you back to your “Home” time zone.
