Well, I’ve been using DxO quite successfully now to process raw images to displayable JPG or to printable TIFs. But what if I want to use Photomatix to do HDR exposure combination. Does it make sense to run DxO first to get lense correction and so forth. Flickr groups say yes, create some TIFs from DxO and then process with Photomatix. Makes sense to me and to Nikonians. And to show that I’m a dummy, I knew this back in 2008! (good thing Google indexes this website 🙂
You have to disable a few things before doing this. Like Exposure Correction that DxO does (since that’s the point, to have under and overexposed images).
