Went to terrific party but was a great reminder of how much i like learning new languages. It is Tết in vietnam and i should at least learn to count and say Happy New Year.
Btw for geeks, wikipedia says The name Tết Nguyên Äán is Sino-Vietnamese for Feast of the First Morning, derived from the Hán nôm characters 節元旦 or jie2 yuan3 dan4
Which means holiday of first day
chúc mừng năm mới means Happy new year.
And finally here is how to count…

Ba – Three
Bon – Four

Muoi mot – Eleven
